YLOAN - the power of positive lending
Plenty of folks have a healthy cynicism about the mortgage industry, particularly in the current economic environment.
But YLOAN is the answer to all that. We’re experienced, financially savvy people who listen, understand, and craft real solutions for your mortgage needs.
We're a company you can trust – with your money, your dreams, your goals.
Our Mission
YLOAN’s goal is to develop long-term relationships through our ability to exceed expectations on each and every financing we are entrusted to arrange.
We strive to be the first organization our clients think of when friends and family ask for referral advice on mortgage service providers.
More financial experience, better mortgage solutions for you.
Our People
Founder Nick Lieb is a CPA with a background in corporate and tax accounting, specialties that let him see the big financial picture when
choosing the perfect mortgage strategy for you. Starting in the mortgage sector through the CPA firm, Nick found he liked its complexity –
but just as much, he enjoyed helping people with mortgage strategies, pointing out tax advantages to different loan products and finding
ways to lower monthly payments. Inspired to improve the industry, Nick helped draft the original legislation in Montana to require licensing
of mortgage brokers. His perspective led him to assemble a team at YLOAN that shares his philosophy and has more experience, more variety of
financial skill, than a typical brokerage. Nick’s Montana outdoor favorites include skiing and rafting.
Loan officer George Stewart came to YLOAN from New York with 29 years of high-profile banking experience under his belt. Included in a
long list of accomplishments is George’s tenure as Head of Originations for one of the world’s largest banking institutions, Bank of
Tokyo-Mitsubishi; he presided over a staff of 35 and a $30 billion loan portfolio. George’s knowledge of lending and his vast network
of contacts add to his drive to stay 100% current on developments in the mortgage industry – all qualities that serve you very well
even in the most challenging of circumstances. When not immersed in making YLOAN the best brokerage in the business, George is
usually immersed in one of the area’s blue ribbon trout streams or carving up the ski slopes.
Loan officer Ben Selznick is a legend in the professional whitewater kayak world, where he competed at the highest levels of the sport
all over the globe. At YLOAN, he’s famous for his personable way of working with clients, making even complex concepts and the inevitable
paperwork much more user-friendly. Ben previously co-owned an area realty company as a licensed real estate agent, where he managed
three other employees and developed marketing strategies that led to 100% sales growth in just one year. Keenly interested in the
local area and economy, Ben has worked closely with both developers and city government regarding planning and future development.
Loan processor Annie Vosper Parker is our guru of all things title, escrow and processing. For over 20 years, Annie ran her successful closing
company in Seattle, which explains her ability to efficiently and smoothly handle every aspect of your transaction without sacrificing quality
and accuracy. Annie moved with her husband back to his home state of Montana, a very fortunate turn of events for YLOAN which now benefits
tremendously from her experience. Annie, a Harley rider, is glad to be in a place where the open road is a given and the Great Outdoors is a
fact of daily life instead of something you visit once in a while.
Loan officer Caroline Roy is the newest member of the YLOAN team, joining us in early 2009. She has spent the past few years honing her
skills in the industry by focusing on both Commercial and Residential financing here in Bozeman. Her college background in Economics
from Middlebury College in Vermont has been the perfect platform to launch her into these rapidly evolving economic times. What truly
drives Caroline to succeed are the challenges presented by each borrowers’ unique situation and expectations. Every new loan is a
puzzle waiting to be solved. Building strong business relationships with each borrower is crucial to meeting and exceeding those
expectations whether a purchase or a refinance. Her enthusiasm for a challenge does not stop at the workplace, however. When she
is away from the office, you will likely find her cycling, fishing, skiing or hunting anywhere around Montana.
All told, this is the most effective and confidence-inspiring team you’ll find anywhere. They’ll help you get exactly what you need,
whether purchasing a property, refinancing, accessing cash from equity, or just putting a more favorable spin on your monthly payments.
