subject: Best Place To Buy A Timeshare [print this page]

You know so many times I get asked this question of "Where is the Best Place to Buy a Timeshare?" well many people will tell you location, location, location. Others will tell you that it will be where you can get the most for your money. Personally I have another view.

You should only buy a timeshare that is right for you. Location is important but it is important to you, your friends may have a timeshare already but their location might not be what you had in mind. It is a personal preference and you might find you need to have a hunt around to find what is actually what you are looking for.

For example, if you have children and a large percentage of timeshare owners do then the last thing you will want is a resort that has been designed for the retired or even worse the young adult with night clubs and bars under your apartment or villa window?

So when you are looking to purchase a timeshare or exchange your week so you get the most out of your weeks, the best place to buy timeshare is where it is right for you. Make sure you sit down and look at what you want from your holiday, ensure that you know if you want excitement that there is something to do close by, if you want golf then make sure you know that there are good golf courses nearby (even check to see if the resorts you are looking at have affiliation with local courses to get a discount) and if you want a beach holiday then of course you will want a beach close by.

Many people get caught up in the wonder of the moment when they go on a Timeshare presentation, normally they are on holiday or a break where they have been approached to recieve a "Free" gift to attend. In many cases the wonder of returning to what you have is just too much to resist. Hang on a minute most of the time what you feel there and then at that moment might not be exactly what you are looking for?

Are you with the children or having a break without them, if so will it be suitable for them when they are with you? Is it suitable for them? Is there plenty to do? Are the things that are important to you close by?

All of these questions are things that people should ask themselves when they are looking for the best place to buy a timeshare. Remember one of the main reasons people want to get rid of their timeshare is that it just doesn't work for them. Entering into a timeshare should be a calculated decision make sure you think about yours.
