Great underexploited product
This webcam is a great piece of engenieering, has great resolution and refreshing rate. until today the only thing I've used was the eyecreate, the free software you can download from PS store. It's fun and easy to use.
But I think this still have a lot of potential to be greater product when more software and games take advantage of this hardware.
PS: You can download the drivers for PC, and is a great web cam for that price. Try it.

Works on MAC and PC!
I bought this little camera to use it with my computer mainly. It has a better lens than most computer webcams do, and it has a much better microphone than most webcams too. I've even used the microphone in this for speech recognition software, and to record a guitar. Definitely not studio quality, but it's actually better than I expected.
I like the fact that the lens as a built-in zoom, so you can get two steps: narrow view or wide angle view. The camera also has a pretty nice frame rate, and the image quality is pretty decent.
The only bad thing is that it doesn't have HD support, but most Internet connections can't handle HD videoconferencing anyways... another bad thing is a fact that the PS3 can barely make any use of this camera, except for a few lame games. Supposedly the new motion controllers for the PS3 will make use of this camera, and it is rumored that Gran Turismo 5 might have a few features involving the camera.
But overall I think that this camera is a good value for the money, as long as you use it on your computer too, and not just on the PS3.

Great Camera
The Playstation Eye is a great camera. It cancels unwanted noise pretty well. While the video quality isn't HD, it's still not bad as long as you aren't gonna want incredible background pictures. I also noticed very little lag in video feedback, my guess is .1 second. My only draw back is that while it does have a zoom function, it doesn't zoom in very far.

For a webcam sort of device it is pretty good. I would however wish it was a better quality image but since nothing can really be done oh well. I would still tell people to get it since it is pretty good quality for games and such.

This a great webcam. There really isn't a lot of use for it in games but if you are using it for video chat it's great. I used it over christmas for family who couldn't make it to the gift exchange. It's much nicer then using the computer.
