Daphne Elephant Orphanage
The Daphne Nairobi elephant orphanage is a sanctuary for orphaned baby elephants which are taken care of here until; they are old enough to be released in the wilderness. The orphanage is located inside the Nairobi national park and is accessible through the Mbagathi gate.
Here you will see the young elephants being fed with milk from bottles. The caregivers also will tell you more on the history of each baby elephant and how they came to be orphaned. Giraffe center
The giraffe center is a one day Nairobi destination where they keep Rothschild giraffes in a large garden. You will be able to feed and touch the giraffes from a raised platform. This is the best place to take nice photos while touching and holding a giraffe in Nairobi.

Karen Blixen
The Karen Blixen is a one day attraction in Nairobi which is based on the colonial history of Kenya. Karen Blixen was a Danish coffee farmer who settled on the slopes of Ngong hills with her husband Bror Blixen. The lady returned home to Denmark after her coffee farm business failed; she became a world acclaimed author of the "Out of Africa' book.
This is a guided tour around her former farm house to see the museum complete with game trophies, rags, antique furnishing and many other paraphernalia. It is a good walk down colonial safari memory lane.
Nairobi National Park

Lake Nakuru is the biggest world bird spectacle as it has over 2 million flamingos that line its edges in one large pink ribbon.
