Built at the dawn of the 20th century, brings turn-of-the-century travel to life again. A boat inhabited by the memory of the King Fouad who received it as a gift in 1885; the memory of the Belle poque travelers who used it; or that of Hercule Poirot who Agatha Christie had walking its decks in her writings.

Cruise Itinerary
Day 1: (Saturday) Welcome to Egypt
Arrive to Cairo airport, meet and assist by your tour manager then transfer to your hotel for check in with an exclusive air conditioned modern van. our rep will provide you with detailed info about your holidays itinerary, advise all procedures and finalize all pick up time for your holiday time, overnight in Cairo.
Meal plan: Welcome drink
Day 2: (Sunday) Giza Pyramids Day
Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then met by your personal guide who will accompany you in day tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx, the necropolis of Sakkara and the former capital, Memphis. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: (Monday) Cairo City Sightseeing / Fly To Luxor
Breakfast at the hotel and then you will be escorted by your private guide to Immerse yourself further into Egypt's history with an unmissable visit to the famous Egyptian Museum. Follow this with a stroll through Khan el-Khalili bazaar and a visit other Cairo's most popular Islamic and Coptic attractions in Old Cairo. Back to the hotel and Overnight in Cairo. Later, you will be transferred to Cairo airport to fly to Luxor, upon your arrival in Luxor you will be met & transferred to your hotel for check in and overnight staying.

Day 4: (Tuesday) Luxor SS Sudan Nile Steamship
Breakfast at your hotel in Luxor then transfer to the Steam Ship Sudan; boarding before lunch. Settle into your original Edwardian cabin or suite. Gourmet lunch served on board.
Today you will be taken to sightseeing tour to one of the largest and most impressive archaeological sites in Egypt, the Temple of Karnak. Under the command of the great Pharaohs, this awe inspiring ancient city was built over approx. 2000 years. Walking through this vast open air museum, you will be struck by the almost perfect illustrations that honour the Pharaohs and their Gods.
Evening "optional tour" to attend the Sound and Light show in Karnak temples before returning back and overnight in Luxor.

Day 5: (Wednesday) SS Sudan Nile Steamer Ship
Departs early morning for a day of discovery tour to Luxor West Bank starting with the Valley of the Kings. Situated on the west bank of the Nile, this limestone valley houses the burial chambers of the great Pharaohs, powerful nobles - and later the royal spouses - of the 18th-21st dynasties. 63 magnificent temples of eternal life line the valley including Tutankhamens Tomb which was famously discovered by Howard Carter in 1922. The vibrant color and conservation of the hieroglyphics lining the tomb of Ramses III never ceases to captivate.
At approx. 2.30pm, the Steam Ship Sudan will start sailing towards Esna, 60km south of Luxor. After passing through the lock at Esna, the ship with cruise under the star filled sky towards Edfu, a further 46km. Overnight at Edfu.

Day 6: (Thursday) SS Sudan Nile Cruise Ship
A morning exploration of the Temple of Edfu. This sanctuary is considered to be one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. The site, built in honour of the falcon-headed sky god, Horus, whose eyes were the sun and the moon, was abandoned by the Roman Empire in 391 AD. The temple lay buried under a protective layer of sand until it was excavated by French Egyptologist, Auguste Mariette, in the 1860s. Gourmet lunch served on board. Languidly cruise 145km south and unveil the pillars of Kom Ombo resting grandly on the banks of the Nile.
Being a favoured basking spot for crocodiles in ancient times, the temple at Kom Ombo was dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god. The temple dates back to 180BC during the Ptolemaic era, with notable Roman influences.

Day 7: (Friday) SS Sudan Nile Cruise Steamer ship
The Steam Ship Sudan gracefully navigates a further 48km south, past fertile fields and sandy river banks, to reach Aswan at the end of the Nile Valley. It is here where ancient Nubia begins.
Today marks your discovery of the Temple of Philae, the domain of the Goddess Isis, the universal mother who reigned over life, death and resurrection. Philae was one of the most important shrines of ancient Egypt and Nubia until 550AD when the Byzantine Emperor, Justinian, ordered its closing after 4000 years of worship. The temple was dismantled and rebuilt on Agilika Island (just south of Aswan) due to the construction of the crucial irrigation system, the High Dam. Before dining on board, you will have time to explore the Aswan markets where you will find indigo, saffron and other treasures.
There is an option for the evening entertainment - the Light and Sound show which illuminates the Temple of Philae. Overnight on board in Aswan.

Day 8: (Saturday) SS Sudan Steamship / Aswan Stay
Here mark the end of your journey with breakfast on board your Nile cruise steamship in Aswan followed by disembarkation and transfer by exclusive car and driver to your hotel in Aswan for check in with free time in leisure and optional excursions available in Aswan. Overnight in Aswa.

Day 9: (Sunday) Aswan to Cairo by Plane / Optional Tour To Abu Simbel

Over land tours: No down payment is required as it can be done the day you start your confirmed day trip or the travel package, you can pay using any of the following methods (credit cards, travel checks, cash in your desired currency with updated exchange rate)
Shore excursions: No down payment is required, payment can be done upon your arrival and you can pay using any of the following methods (credit cards, travel checks, cash in your desired currency with updated exchange rate)
Flight excursions: Full payment is required at least 4 days before your requested trip with travel checks or in cash with your preferred currency.
Travel packages: 50 % of the total amount are required one complete week before the tour package starting day using any of the above mentioned methods of payment.
Cancelation policy:
- Same day of the tour: No refund.
- One day before: all money are fully refundable if you would cancel your booking even one day before as long as you will contact us within 24 hours before your booking date except for the travel packages that requests hotel booking or flight ticket, the same for the one day excursion by flight (in this case you will charged with 25% of your total cost for the cancelation 4 days before & 50 % of the total if cancelation would happen in less than 4 days prior your booking date).
