10 Of The Best Nintendo Games You Possibly Have Never Have Played
Over the last few decades, Nintendo have made some totally awesome games for their handheld and home consoles.
The company have also been responsible for many well known and lovable characters that have starred in many great games such as Mario, Zelda and Metroid to name a few. However there are many other quality games that never sold very well and were mostly ignored.
Below is a list of such games - highly regarded and reviewed yet mainly ignored by most gamers.
1. GTA: Chinatown Wars (DS) - This is the most highly rated game on the DS yet many people ignored it. It sold nothing compared to its bigger console counterparts yet it is every bit as good!
2. Beyond Good & Evil (Gamecube) - Quite a cult classic among Gamecube gamers, quality controls, graphics, story and characters mean't for a really enjoyable game.
3. Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat (Gamecube) - This is Nintendo at their platforming best. An awesome 2D game with lovely visuals and bongo controls that worked well.
4. Zack & Wiki: Quest For Barbaros Treasure (Wii) - An excellent puzzle adventure that was quite difficult too. The cutesy look and name put many off, but it was worth every penny.
5. Blast Corps (N64) - A really unique game from Rare and one of it's most under-appreciated.
6. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (Gamecube) - Still one of the best psychological thrillers on any console. This had amazing sanity effects that really played with your mind.
7. Chrono Trigger (SNES/DS) - Many young gamers would probably have not played this so now is your chance with the DS remake. This is Japanese role playing at it's finest.
8. Sin & Punishment (N64/Wii) - Unavailable originally in the west, this is now on Virtual Console on Wii so download and enjoy some Treasure action.
9. Okami (Wii/PS2) - Capcom must have wondered what they did wrong with this one as it hardly sold at all. Well they did nothing wrong as it is about as good as it gets. Gamers lost out here big time by ignoring this.
10. Chibi-Robo! (Gamecube/Wii) - Released late in the Gamecube's life mean't not many people gave this quirky title a chance. The fact you can play it on your Wii gives little excuse not to go and track this down.
