1. Airport parking If you want to have the convenience of driving to the airport yourself and having your car waiting for you when you return, you may want to consider in airport parking.

2. Airport hotels If you have an early morning flight and don't want the hassle of battling through traffic, you may see the benefit in a hotel stay. Likewise, if your return flight arrives in the early hours, an airport hotel could offer convenience.

3. Taxis If, however, you prefer to leave your car at home, you may want to book taxis to take and collect you.

4. Travel insurance This is a must, but you have a number of options with regards to where you buy it from.
