Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) is offering its 125 kHz low frequency encapsulated RFID contactless tag which is attached to or placed on an object. It is commonly used for such applications as logistics, anti-counterfeiting, access control and other applications requiring an industrial transponder.

This LF encapsulated RFID contactless tag, model 111002, operates at a frequency of 125 6 kHz. It is compliant with IC EM4100 standard. It offers a maximum read quantity of 1 tag per second and a tested read range from 2 to 6 cm. This light weight tag has Manchester, Biphase and PSK data coding types. The low frequency tag is waterproof and resistant to immersion in salt water, alcohol, oil, 10% HCl and ammonia allowing it to perform well even in harsh industrial environments. In addition, it has a memory capacity of 64 bits R/W.
