Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) is offering its 13.56 MHz high frequency Mifare USB RFID reader/writer. This advanced reader/writer is commonly used in applications including access control, parking systems, prepaid parking, ticketing, time and attendance, admission control and POS.

This high frequency RFID reader, model 233002, can support both Mifare Class and Mifare PRO standard cards. With the encoder software, the reader allows you to define your own security keys and write them to the cards. This device connects to a computer through RS232 or USB interfaces. It operates at a baud rate of 19200 bps and provides a read distance of 2 cm.

This light weight reader has a memory capacity of 32 KB and also has CE and FCC certification. It provides an IP65 protection rating making it resistant to water and dust. Its ABS housing also helps it operating stably under harsh environments. In addition, it is specifically designed to perform well even under temperatures between 0 C and 60 C and relative humidity from 10% to 90%.
