2 Causes Of Back Pain That You Do Have Control Over
Back pain is very common thing for people of all ages in America
. A huge problem is too that it seems like no one can agree on what's causing it. Chiropractors will tell you one thing, other doctors will tell you something else, it can be very frustrating! Here's 2 causes of back pain that you have control over...which means you have the power to fix it.
Being inactive throughout much of the day can indirectly cause pain in your back. If you sit in a chair most of the day or just aren't physically active, then this may be your problem.
When you don't get a lot of exercise, the tiny muscles in your back will relax too much and get weak. A lot of those muscles in there are stabilizers that help to keep the spine in place and healthy. When they get weak, your spine can easily move out of place, and just a little movement can cause serious pain.
Another common cause of back pain is simply being overweight. This one goes pretty much hand in hand with the first reason, as being inactive can also lead to being overweight. When your body is carrying more weight than it was meant to, especially if it's in your stomach area, it can pull on the spine and screw up your alignment.
If the muscles in your back aren't strong enough they won't be able to keep everything taught and snug around your spine. One small little jolt or mis-movement can cause pain and it can be hard to get those stabilizer muscles back into the right place once they've moved.
If you've had back pain for awhile now, you may just need to lose a few pounds and stay a little more active. You'll probably find that during times of most activity is when your back hurts the least.
