However, you should be aware that Sarcoplasmic Hypertrophy is a bit of an illusion. While you do get bigger, this isn't real muscle growth as you're not developing any additional muscle fibers. Therefore, this kind of muscle development does not lead to an increase in strength or physical ability. However, in terms of size, it is key.
2. Myofibrillar Hypertrophy- This is a totaly different kind of muscle growth, one which is based on actual muscle fiber development and not on fluids. When you achieve Myofibrillar Hypertrophy, you will make your muscles denser and add more fibers which are able to contract and increase your strength. It will also help your muscles look denser, toner, and more defined.
To get the best looking body possible, you need to combine both of these types of growth. One will make you bigger and the other will make you look more chiseled and firm.
