Since loop detectors are integrated and under the control of a single processor, advanced algorithms are available to spot stopped or straddling vehicles and minimise data inaccuracy if conditions are congested. Now that's intelligent.

The Vehicle Counters and Classifiers also feature automatic length adjustment due to vehicle chassis height or lane position, motorcycle detection from standard loops without affecting accuracy or other traffic and built in protection preventing any cross talk' between loops to further enhance accuracy and reliability.

Golden River's Front End' software for vehicle counters and classifiers provides a simple, seamless operation using PCs and PDAs. Front End enables you to monitor and control file management incorporating fast communications and download times.

Definable set up options such as speed template micros are available and conveniently, transition from existing Golden River products has been fully integrated as all data files are reverse compatible with previous models and software meaning existing configuration files can be imported straight into the M68x range.

Most Marksman ITS system components are installed with telemetry for control and traffic data retrieval and Golden River's equipment design reflects this. Modem drivers are integral to all units in the range and the remote telemetry option utilises the already established GR Net' software.
