The 2010 NBA draft lottery is in the books, and the Washington Wizards won. They will end up taking John Wall with that pick, shop around Gilbert Arenas but won't find any takers. No one will give up anything decent for him because of his horrendous contract and gun incident. For the Wizards, it's not worth giving him up for a few spare parts or a second round draft pick.

Jrue Holiday was the big winner of the draft for the 76ers because now he gets to start for the team. When the 76ers made it to the top 3, he must have been terrified they would win, take Wall, and he'd be an eternal backup. If they won the lottery. Andre Iguodala was the big loser because Evan Turner plays the same position. Holiday, Iguodala, and Turner can all play at the same time in a small lineup, but I wouldn't be surprised if the 76ers move back. Moving back to #4 to take Wesley Johnson to allow the T-Wolves to take Turner makes the most sense. Wes Johnson would be an immediate upgrade over Jason Kapono for the 76ers. It only is moving back two spots, and it just depends how much the 76ers want for the pick. The Nets are the wild card in this trade scenario. Wes Johnson doesn't make sense because Terrence Williams was drafted last year. The Nets traded for Courtney Lee and drafted Chris Douglas-Roberts (CDR), who can handle the SG spot. Derrick Favors needs to be the pick for this team, but something crazy could happen. Yi Jianlian is not the answer for starting PF. Brook Lopez and Derrick Favors would be a great physical tandem and could develop together.
