2010 Orlando March Of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction
Jim Ferrell is very easy to work with and is a licensed auctioneer specializing in furniture
, estates, antiques, reunions, fund raising, and real estate. Our fund raising auctions are a great way for churches and charities to raise a lot of revenue.
He is also a professional speaker at conventions on Auctions, Probate, and "Outrageous Customer Service for Bodacious Profits and Hilarious Fun!"
He speaks at colleges and schools on "You're Hired! How To Get A Job" by getting into the top 5% of all job interviews. Another great topic is "Time Devils. Sex and Drugs" a student orientation on how to get more done in less time while improving grades and quality of life.
Jim Ferrell is very experienced and remains in time with the modern market.
Jim hails from Huntington, West Virginia, and attended his first auction in the late 60's with the sole intent of learning how to buy at auctions. That auctioneer used to chew tobacco, drink, and bid call all at the same time. He would bid call with his country nasal voice technique. Then he would stop to spit, and then start again when he was ready. Remember, you could smoke and chew everywhere in those days. Since Jim had never smoked, he asked the auctioneer to move the items that he was interested in to the front, since he could not see for all the smoke after the auction was less than an hour old.
After moving to Florida, Jim was a store manager for several retail chains, and then went into the furniture business. This career lasted 19 years until one day the Lord told him to check out going to auctioneer school, real estate school and become a professional speaker.
