It features new frame, suspension designs, and more powerful Duramax diesel engine with 397 horsepower, and 11% better fuel-economy. It is capable of towing up to 21,700 pounds or carrying 6,635 pounds of payload. It offers features specifically for towing which includes electronic trailer sway control, hill start assist and smart exhaust brake system. Exterior equipments includes black air dam, black door handles, fleetside pickup box, headlumps, dual halogen combined with automated external lamp control and flash-to-pass attribute.
The Chevy Silverado Texas edition is more enhanced by its mechanical equipments such as battery, heavy-duty 600 cold-cranking amps, and maintenance free with rundown protection and retained accessory power. It has 145 amps alternator, frame, fully boxed, hydroformed front section, semi elliptic suspension, and rear 2 stage multi-leaf springs. Safety equipments include steadiness of control system with traction control and Proactive Roll Avoidance, transmission shift interlock/tilt wheel adjustable with brake. It also has frontal airbags, driver and right front passenger with Passenger Sensing System, seat-mounted side-impact, driver and right front passenger for thorax and pelvic protection.
Interior equipments have been optimized to improve its overall performance. It includes warning tones headlamp on, driver and passenger buckle up reminder, key-in-ignition and turn signal on. It has interior lighting with dome and reading lights, illuminated entry feature and backlit instrument panel switches assist handle, front passenger.
