You may or may not be with the person you're with now for the rest of your life, but many of the friendships that you are forging in class and extracurricular activities will follow you everywhere you go in life. Honor those friendships. Cherish them. And choose after prom activities in a manner that allows you all to enjoy the evening together rather than attached to just one person. There should always be time for dancing and alone time with a significant other, but you should not neglect your friends on this night, or you'll regret it.

When it comes to your hairstyle and makeup, invest in someone, who is a professional and knows what they are doing. It will take the stress off you as you gear up for that big night, and it will ensure that you look your very best.
