They think that all they have to do is set up a quick profile and within the next few days, plenty of women will end up checking them out and want to get in touch with them. It doesn't happen like that. Even though it can be easier than meeting women the traditional way, you still have to put forth an effort.

2. You also don't want to make the mistake of commenting on a woman's photos with nothing original to say.

If you know any attractive women that have tried out dating online, then you'd know that most guys leave the same comments. They will tell a woman that she looks beautiful, that she looks sexy, etc. Those kinds of compliments become so generic, that they tend to end up getting overlooked. You want to come up with something more original to say than that if you want to get a woman's attention.

3. A third mistake that you don't want to make is to leave online dating as your only option for meeting women.

It can be fun to use dating sites to meet women, but that should not become the only way that you try to land a date. You should still try other methods if you are looking to get a girlfriend quickly. The more options that you extend yourself, the more likely it is that you are going to eventually meet someone.
