All your prospect wants to know is how your product will benefit their lives. So tell them right in the headline of your sales letter "what's in it for them". Here are some things that you will want to do to ensure that you have your prospects best interests at heart first.


1) Create a T-chart list of features and benefits

What you want to do is make a list of features and benefits that your prospects will receive from doing business with you. For every feature of your product that you list, make an equal and opposite benefit. Once you've come up with your list of benefits, take the best one and put it in the headline of your sales letter in red ink. This will be sure to get your prospects attention. Here's something else that you will want to do.

2) Write a good headline

Your headline can make or break your ebook sales letter. Your headline comprises of about 80% of the success of your sales letter, so you will want to make it good. A great way to write a headline that works is the "so what" test. The so what test ensures that you're keeping your prospects best interest at heart. After writing out your headline, ask yourself, "so what?" If you can come up with a great answer to this question, then you're on the right track to creating a successful headline. 3) Have a strong call to action

You have to tell your prospects what you want them to do. If you just sit there and assume that they will take an action, the bottom line is that they won't. You want to insert your call to action in the PS of your sales letter and also at the bottom of your sales page. Use key phrases such as "click here to buy now" or "buy now" or "take action now". All of these phrases should be used to have a strong closing to your sales letter.
