3D Movies vs 2D Movies: Can you tell a difference after 10 minutes?

My kids still want to see the 3D version over the 2D version of each "blockbuster" summer film that comes along

. However, I'm never too sad when the 3D version is sold out and we have to settle for the lowly digital DLP version of the movie. And my kids still have the same level of 5D fun retelling every memorable scene, with cash left over for a few rounds of 3D gaming after the movie. Now that's the real future of 3D.
