4 Methods to Prove You Deserve a Second Chance

All couples go through tough times and most of them end in breakups. If you want to get your girl back, you need to prove to her that you deserve to have a second chance. It won't be easy, but with the right methods you might just convince her.

Time to recover

Give her time to recover and let her have her space. You're both emotionally drained, so instead of adding to the stress, it would be better if you let things be for a while. Don't call her and pressure her to come back to you. You can't risk having her more annoyed.

By letting things cool off you're also giving yourself a chance to heal. That way, you'll be more in control and natural when you see her again. You have to make her want to come back to you, and you can't do that if you're being an annoying and obsessive ex boyfriend.

Don't be a stalker

Don't freak her out by chasing her or stalking her. You can't just turn up wherever she is. This will make her feel uncomfortable and it's a good reason for her to avoid you altogether.

Remember that you're no longer together, so you can't tell her what to do or where to be. Besides, if she sees you all the time then she won't miss you. How then will she realize what she's missing if she's too busy trying to get away from you?

Icebreaker

While it's important to keep communication at a minimum - or none at all - it's okay to greet her in special occasions. In fact, greeting her on the holidays or on her birthday is a great way to open communication lines once more. She'll think it's sweet that you remembered such an occasion.

If she replied, then you're on your way. But be careful and don't get overexcited. Keep it cool and don't bombard her calls after emails after messages. You can say hi and greet her every now and then, but don't have high hopes that she's really ready to open up. It may still take time so don't pressure her.

Keep the promises simple

To get your girl back, don't make any promises that you can't keep. If you've cheated and apologized and told her it will never happen again, make sure you'll keep your end of the bargain. A second time would be close to unforgivable.

Prove to her that you're really sorry by accepting your mistakes. Don't make excuses or say "she seduced me" or "she kissed me, it's not what you think." Saying those implies that you're not ready to accept responsibilities for your actions.
