When you are a student. You have your plates full. There is so much to do in a day. And the last thing on your mind is to sit down and plan your time. How can you keep yourself sane when you're overloaded with courses, research, teaching, and a life?

Here are 4 simple but effective ideas to gain control of school time. Restore some sanity back into your life.

A Plan of Action

The best way to start each day is to have an action plan. Create a lists of things that you need to achieved for the day the night before and a plan on how you will do it. All you need to do is executed your plan when you get up. Set it motion.

Messy Table Syndrome

Take a look at your desk. If you got a messy desk, chances are your will being spending time looking for things or getting distracted by things on your table. A minute here and a minute there does on feel a lot. But if you add it all up. You could have hours of your precious time wasted. A clean desk allows you to focus on your work. There are no distractions or things to look for. You will be surprise how much faster you can get your work done.

Eat Breakfast

Breakfast is your body first meal for the day. It keeps you alert and help you concentrate on your work. This all Stay away from the sugary cereals, syrups, pastries, and white breads because they are digested quickly and will leave you hungry and tired in a couple of hours. Protein and fiber satisfy your hunger and will keep you feeling full until lunch time.

Get Enough Sleep

Most student complain on a regular basis that they are flat-out tired throughout the day. For most, they get the quantity of sleep, but they lack the quality of sleep. Each day in school is jam pack with activities and you get a sense that things are out of control. You maybe studying harder but not necessary smarter. Plan and take time for a sufficient quantity of sleep. Take a nap in the afternoon. When you plan your day, then work your plan, you will get more done, feel a higher sense of accomplishment, greater self-esteem, and experience less stress and enjoy a more restful night's sleep.
