I am a big believer that one of the elements needed to make money on the Internet is you should have fun doing it

. Certainly making money is fine, but the process of using the Internet to generate income must be enjoyable as well.

Here are four ways you can make money online and hopefully have fun at the same time.

1. Start by turning a hobby into a home based business. Use the Internet in various ways to promote your home based business.

Examples of things that you might enjoy doing that you could create an Internet income from would be gardening, baking, fishing, home improvements, crafts, and so on. You can sell products online relating to these niches and make money with those.

One way to do that is through affiliate marketing. Another way to do that would be the start a blog and monetize it with affiliate programs.

2. Email marketing is another thing that is fun to do. Building a mailing list and selling products to your list is an easy way to make money once you get the hang of it.

Interacting with your subscribers to build relationships with them is great. Over time as your list grows you can make a six or even seven figure income and only spend a handful of hours per week doing it.

3. Start a home business in some of the old standby businesses such as Tupperware, Avon, or Watkins. Because they have products that people like these companies have been around for a long time.

The difference today is much of your business can be automated online making it easier for you to make money. However you can still get out in the public with people doing home demonstrations, or meetings. There are people who learn full time living in businesses and they get to control their own schedule and work when they want.
