4 Ways To Prevent Moles
Do any of your family members have moles? Do you have a family history of skin cancer
? If you do, then you have an increased chance of having skin cancer and moles on your body!
A mole is a pigmented spot on the skin that has changed colour. This is due to changes or dysfunction in the pigment cells in your skin. The changes or dysfunction can be caused by damage to the skin by either disease or physical damage to the tissue.
In the majority of cases, moles are harmless. But rarely, moles can be cancerous in nature. In any case, people who have numerous moles on their body have an increased chance of suffering from skin cancer in the future. Also, people who have little or no moles on their bodies have a decreased chance of developing skin cancer and other skin conditions.
Hence, if you want to decrease the chance of cancer, you would want to decrease the amount of moles on your body.
Here are 5 simple tips to prevent moles from developing on your body!
1. Always wear sun cream during the daytime
Harmful ultra violet rays can potentially damage your skin and produce moles on your body. Sun cream significantly reduces the risk of harmful ultra violet rays to damage your skin. Sun cream should be applied especially during the mid-day from 10am to 4pm to minimise exposure to harmful rays. Doing so will significantly reduce moles.
2. Moisturise your skin regularly
When your skin becomes dry or dehydrated, your skin is much more susceptible to tissue damage and developing moles. Hence, whenever you see that some parts of your skin is flaking or drying, you should apply moisturiser as soon as possible to prevent moles.
3. Run for 30 minutes a day regularly
The largest organ in your body is your skin. Like any part of the body, the more you exercise that organ, the healthier it is. This is the same for the skin.
One of the best exercise for the skin is running because you stretch and contract the skin when you are running but also increase the circulation in your skin.
At least 30 minutes of running is the minimum amount to exercise the skin to be healthy!
4. Weekly massages
To make your skin healthy and toned, a good massage is a good way to keep it healthy. A massage will help keep your skin toned but it also makes your skin more supple and relaxed!
