Well the title says it all. We all strive hard to make our PC run fast but it does not at all times. The slow running of the PC is due to many reasons and it depends on the configuration of the system as well. There are several ways to optimize the performance of a PC and it can be done using little tweaks to the current settings. Here are few tips which can make your PC run little faster than before. Here goes the list,
1. Go to any of your hard drive i.e., C: / or D: / and right click on it. Navigate to the properties and uncheck the check box which speaks about indexing the files in the hard drive. There is nothing to worry after you uncheck this because this is going to affect those who search more than 10,000 times a day. I am sure no one does that. It slows down the search results by few seconds but increases the computer speed which is more important.
2. When you navigate to the advanced computer settings you can see two options which speak about the performance and the appearance. Go and check the option which speaks about the maximizing the performance. This can help in increasing the speed a lot.
3. Remove all the adwares and spywares present in the PC. These kinds of programs use most of the CPU Cycle run which indirectly impacts the performances of the other applications.
4. Remove all the unused programs from the PC. It is also not advised to have the unused programs in the start button.
5. The last and final tip is to remove the applications in the startup. It is simple and easy to remove those. Go to Run and type msconfig which will open a small window. Navigate to the startup tab present on the window and uncheck all unwanted startup items.
