The Door Frame and Desk Push Up: Whenever you are walking into a room, grip the door frame of the room and do a pushup while standing. This will help to tone up your arms. When you are at your desk, stand up once and lean at an angle over the desk. Now using the desk as leverage, do some pushups. This exercise is quite effective in toning up your chest and arms.


Bicycle Kick: When seated on your chair, lift up your legs and move them in circles like you would when pedaling a bicycle. Keep doing it for about a minute at a time and repeat at pre-set intervals. This is a sure shot way of burning up calories while toning up your legs.

Stiff Leg: While sitting in your chair, kick out your legs and hold them straight. Tighten the leg muscles as tightly as possible. This exercise again will give your legs a good workout and help tone the leg muscles.

Arm Rest Press: When sitting on your chair, use the arm rests of your chair and press down firmly on them like you would when you are about to get up. Do not lean with your weight forward though. You may keep your legs out forward if you need to. Hold this position for about 30 seconds and then repeat at pre-set intervals.

Desk Push: Lean over the desk, while you are seated and keep your hands on the table. Using the table, press the hands hard against the desk and push up, like you would when trying to get up from the table. Hold this position for about 30 seconds and repeat at pre-set intervals.
