. Not me though. I write for one main reason, which is the fact that Search Engines love good articles. A good article is defined as one with great content, of course. All the great websites and blogs out there are Search Engine Optimized and they get tons of free traffic.

I am sure many of you are writing for the same reason as I. Here are some cool tips for you to take note off to make your Article Marketing strategy more effective.

1. What Is Your Message

There should be only one key message in your article. For example, do not write about how to select a good pre-owned car and how to change the engine oil in one single article. You are in fact targeting at two different types of audiences or readers. Separate them into 2 articles using different keywords and tags.

2. Craft Your Title

This is extremely important. Between "How To Make Good Love To Your Wife" and "How To Give Her Multiple Orgasm", I will certainly opt for the latter because the former is too vague and uninteresting. Think from the Readers' point of view. The word "craft" means it takes skills. Observe and analyze how other writers pen their article titles. Learn from the experts.

3. Your Purpose Defines Your Style

You could be writing to promote an Affiliate product, your own product, or for the purpose of building a list. Each of these objectives require a different writing styles, so ask yourself this question each time you pen an article. It is like driving the golf ball to the right hole.

4. Keywords Optimization

Your keywords should appear within the first 2 paragraphs of the article in order to optimize it for Search Engines. The keywords should also be sprinkled over the entire article but should not exceed 2 percent of the article length. Doing so may render your article as keyword spamming and be "blacklisted" by the Search Engines.

5. Content Is King

If you want your articles to earn you more backlinks, you absolutely need to drive great content. I have other websites pulling information from my articles and create backlinks to my websites because of that. The more backlinks you have, the higher your ranking would be in the Search Engines listing.

Article Marketing is an extremely effective means of driving free traffic, but it must be done right or you may have just wasted an hour of work writing and submitting your article. Yet, too many Internet Marketers are not paying enough attention to the unspoken rules.
