Imperfections

It's great to be in shape and make efforts to improve appearances. What's not great is obsessing and thinking you're not good enough.

Women come in all shape in sizes, and all are beautiful. What you see as a big butt, too full lips, pale complexion, or being too curvy are beautiful features to other men. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. These "imperfections" may be your key to stand out from all the rest.

Losing faith

Have you been lied to or cheated on before? Are you afraid that all men are like that? Are you afraid of getting hurt again so you choose to be on your own?

These are all natural reactions if you've been hurt before. But if you wish to get a boyfriend, then you need to learn to open your heart again. Not all men are like that. It's not your fault if you once fell for the wrong guy.

Age

There's no such thing as being "too old" to date. There's no law stating people above 30 years old are forbidden in the dating world and should accept their fate.

Don't feel as if you can't see other people anymore just because you're no longer in your twenties. Age shouldn't matter, it's just a number. It doesn't describe who you are or doesn't control your life.

Can't afford it

Can't afford to have a boyfriend? Oh that's right: the shoes, makeup, a rack of cool clothes and anything to make yourself look hot. Looking amazing is expensive after all.

While appearances are important, not everything has to be new. Guys can care less what shoes you're wearing. Just wear clothes that will flatter your figure and light makeup. You don't have to go overboard. If you're comfortable with yourself, then that's all it takes to impress a guy.

Too busy

One of the many excuses of why you can't get a boyfriend is because you don't have balance in your life. Kudos for you if you're career oriented and worked hard to be where you are now. But when it's suddenly all about work and no play, it's time to play a different tune.

Make time to unwind and just have fun. Go out with friends and meet new people. Being too focused on work will leave you stressed. Be open to the possibility to meet other people.
