Plants vs Zombies: Developed by Popcap Games, Plants vs Zombies is all about a homeowner defending his house against zombies by using a variety of plants and fungi. This game has received several nominations for the best game design.
Zen Bound 2: One of the most beautiful rendered games you'll ever see, the Zen Bound 2 is also one of the most soothing games you'll ever play. The idea is to tie a rope around items of different sizes and shapes and when this is carried out, a certain amount of paint splashes on the item. A particular area of the item (depending on how the rope was tied) is covered with the paint and your goal when you play the game is to maximize this area.
Flight Control HD: In this game you'll need to land different types of helicopters and aircraft onto helipads or runways without having any of them running into each other. You can determine the path the aircraft takes on the runway by tracing a path with your finger. This game was a great hit on the iphone but it is even more spectacular on the ipad since it's played out on high definition maps with more planes and helipads than usual. It's an addictive game that'll have you on the edge of your seat as you try to avoid collisions.
Labyrinth 2 HD: The goal in the iphone version of this game was to guide a ball into a hole. The iPad version of the game features upgraded graphics that are quite excellent. They've also added lots of fresh elements to the game such as fans, magnets and multiple balls that truly escalates the fun factor.
