We must offer benefits to the target group, not features, to succeed in the Internet. Very often the offers are the same, but the way how they are offered makes the added value and builds the brand. But the important thing is, that the site visitor feels, that the site had something special.

It is said that the offer must contact the target person in average from five to seven times to reach the impact, where the target person starts to buy. This lead us to think, which promotion strategies are effective ones, the one shot campaigns or the long term search engine marketing campaigns.

5. Be Long Term.

The brand building and the Internet marketing are not the short term jobs, but need a long term commitment. The persistence is a skill, which a marketer can reach during a long period of time.

My opinion is, that the most important elements of the internet business plan are very simple. The more complicated they are, the more difficult they are. The complicated plans look very academic, but do they work in the real life. I do not doubt their contents, but are they realistic to run for a one man company?
