5 Reasons Why Ios6 Is Behind Android

When the announcement of the brand new iOS6 operating system

, the media were all ranting and raving on how this could easily knock the Android operating system of its perch, but sadly when the update was released we saw how flawed this operating system update actually is compared to the Android OS. This article will show the main 5 reasons why the iOS6 is falling behind android massively in today"s technology market.

1.Social Integration

Android has had social integration in its system since the very beginning and it has only been till now where the iOS has actually got Facebook and Twitter integration onto one device. This shows how far ahead Android have been planning for their future smartphones by making sure all social integration can be done through a Smartphone. It also shows how much apple has fallen behind in regards to updating their social channels.

2.Video Chat

Whilst many have thought that Facetime was an invention by Apple, this has been on Android devices for a long time and you have been able to make video calls over cellular data since it has been on there. Apple has only just announced that Facetime will be able to function over the cellular data on the iOS6 software update. Whilst many say that Facetime works very well as compared to Android it was still android which placed this on their products first as compared to iOS6 which has only been on there the previous two updates.

3.Messaging

Whilst messaging will be one every smartphone there are just some nifty little updates which the Android operating system has over the Apple operating system. Apple have just announced that there is a do not disturb feature which can send a message straight away to the recipient when rejecting their call, there has been a similar feature like this on the android systems where you can just send quick texts to whoever but there has also been a feature where you can reply to texts from your web browser using Google voice.

4.Presentation

The presentation for the iOS has stayed the same since it was first started whilst the Android operating systems presentation has come over leaps and bounds since it was started as there have always been fantastic improvements with each update but there are always more improvements which can be made with each update.

5.Maps

One of the main problems which the iOS6 has is the launch of the Apple maps. There have been many glitches found in the new Apple maps software and well the media have been very quick to notice all of these mistakes. Whilst Apple have a very glitchy maps software, Android have been stuck with Google Maps ever since its integration and as this is a very smart move as the functionality which Google Maps offers is incredible as compared to apple Maps.

These are the 5 main reasons why iOS6 are quite far behinds the Android operating system at the moment, hopefully one day we will see an operating system which can knock off android off their high and mighty throne but after seeing Apples attempts with the iOS6 it doesn"t seem likely in the future.
