5 Secrets To Making Your First Billion Dollars
Whatever mindsets you have, whatever you adopt and whatever mindsets you change affect your behavior and behavior affect what you do
. So, the first mindset you must adopt, or change is:
1. Selling is GOOD. For you to make your first billion / million dollars, you have to sell something. If you don't like to sell, or just the thought makes you cringe, you simply must change this mindset.
If you hate it, or if you don't know how, than learn how. If you hate to sell, think of your product as the magic product that will help the customer save their life, and family, if the customer doesn't buy your "something" than they and their family will die. You are saving their life and family.
Right now, whether you like it, or not you are a salesperson. If you work, or have worked for someone else, you had to sell your skills and knowledge to get hired. If you have a romantic partner, you had to sell them on how "amazing" it is to be with you. Selling makes the world go round.
Besides changing your mindset about selling, you must stop working for someone else.
2. Start a business. Start it part time if you are working and can't quit your job. Before you start, figure-out what you want to sell.
Here's something to keep in mind "sell what people want to buy". Fortunes have been made on regular products. You don't have to reinvent the wheel.
Let me give you an example: Your average person, thinks like this. 'I've invented this widget, I've spent three to five years developing it. I've spent about $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 on patents and attorneys' fees.' Come to find out, NO ONE WANTS his/her invention.
Sell what people want to buy. Keep this simple statement, with you at all times.
3. Learn everything you can about direct response marketing. Now that you have discovered that you must sell something, than it's time to sell to someone, and that's where marketing comes in. If you don't have anyone to sell to, than you won't get rich. The reason, I say 'direct response marketing' and not regular marketing, is because you need to bring in the most people with the lest amount of money and time.
4. Know the math. A big number time a little number equals a big number. Figure-out how much you want to make, than figure-out how many people you have to attract to sell your product to. Let's have some fun with the numbers.
If you want to make $1,000,000.00 dollars with a $20 dollar product, you would have to sell 50,000 units. $20 x 50,000 = $1 million. You would have to bring and market to a whole lot of people to find 50,000 of them, and your advertising budget would be very large. What's the solution, sell something more expensive, and sell to less people.
Let's say a $1,000 dollar product, than you would have to sell only 1,000 units to make your million dollars. What would you have to sell to make $1 Billion Dollars.
5. Sell one item for $1 Billion dollars. What would that be? The business you've created. (secret bonus: you can buy a business, fix it, and sell it.) Learn to make your business very profitable. Have rapid growth in a short period of time, about 60 months. If your business doesn't have high profit and rapid growth, you can still make a bundle of money. When you sell it.
