Shopping in Singapore never gets boring. Singapore is well-known for its shopping experience. There are many popular shopping destinations in this red little dot, such as Orchard Road, Chinatown, Suntec City and Sim Lim Square. Now, let me highlight 5 popular shopping centres in Singapore that you cannot afford to miss.

1.Orchard Road. When you head down to Orchard Road, you can see the streets are crowded with shoppers. You can see many branded boutique signs such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Ralph Lauren at major entrance of shopping malls. At Orchard Road, there is a wide collection of goods for sale, from the latest fashion apparels to accessories. Orchard is extremely famous for both locals and tourists. Recently, Singapore's most luxurious shopping mall, ION, opened along Orchard. ION is a well-designed mall and you can find almost all major boutiques there.

2.Vivo City. Vivo is located at Habour Front and is an one-stop shopping and entertainment hub. Other than shopping, you can take a cable car ride to Sentosa, an offshore island of Singapore which is famous for sight-seeing and beach activities. If you are into nightlife, you can also visit St James Power Station which is just opposite Vivo. St James is the largest one-stop nightlife destination, with 14 bars and clubs all in one location.

3.Sim Lim Square. Sim Lim Square is all geek and tech lovers' paradise. At Sim Lim, you can find all kinds of technology products, from laptops to digital cameras. Tourists can enjoy tax free shopping at Sim Lim. Just head down to level one and present your receipts to claim your tax.

4.Chinatown. Chinatown is famous for its food and shopping. At Chinatown, you can find many shops along the streets, selling all kinds of goods. When you shop at Chinatown, try not to take the initial offer. Always negotiate for a better price.

5.Paragon. Paragon is famous for its luxury shopping. At Paragon, you can find high-end boutiques such as Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Burberry, Hugo Boss, Dunhill, etc. So if you are into luxury and branded goods, you will not get bored when you shop at Paragon.

Last but not least, every year between late May and early July, there is a Great Singapore Sale (GSS). During GSS, some boutiques offer discounts up to 75% for their goods.
