5 Things That Make Your Home Garden Look Better

Garden may be defined as a part of life which is deliberately chosen for decoration

, cultivating crops, vegetables or fruits. It is selected, composed and design by own-self. There is no hard and fast rule for the gardens design but there are some rules which, if are followed makes your garden look more attractive, simple and beautiful. These several design principles give life to your garden and make it look at its best. Once you have these principles down, a garden practically designs itself.

1. Choosing the location.

Starting from the scratch, location of your garden in your home is the most important part. Make sure you chose a perfect location in terms of view and environment. It shouldn't be too near the door steps neither should be very far from it. The area chosen must be in accordance with your capacity of maintaining the garden. Like if you're aged from 35-45, the garden are must be small as per maintenance sake.

2. Keeping Balance.

Once you chose the location, start figuring out on the balance between plants, other landscape elements or even rocks. Because all these items together must be balanced with each other for a constant and delicate look.

3. Grab the attention.

There should be at least one focal point in the garden that should grab attention of the visitor and appeal them to discover more in the garden. The point of attraction must be easily visible and eye-catchy like the a bright red, highly textured Japanese maple standing among smaller, more or less green plans, or a waterfall splashing, sparkling and dancing to its beats. Usually, waterfalls are more effective and attract the visitor.

4. Duplication/Repetition of flowers.

In order to have a constant and attractive look, duplication of flowers must be there. Make sure you repeat the same type of flowers alternatively to have a beautiful effect all around the garden. The trees or the shrubs even must be repeated alternatively. The repetition creates a Rhythm for the eye when it moves around the garden.

5. Expression.

This part is hard to describe but it shows a rhythm maintained in your fully designed garden. It shows what you express. The plain, delicate and constant look that grabs one's attention and makes them look to what you've actually expressed.
