, you'll definitely know how it was at the beginning when you started practicing with your guitar. As you could expect, I was extremely excited the first time I got hold of my first guitar, however, it was terribly frustrating at times when I was trying to learn a good number of songs on it. From time to time I would be able to fully grasp a few songs very quickly but some other time it would take me days or maybe even many weeks to grasp the same kind of songs on my musical instrument.

Where was my mistake coming from? Frankly, at the beginning, I had no clue. But now some few years have passed by, and though I would certainly not declare that I am the greatest guitarist in the world, I am however, a really good one and here are just some of the things that I have discovered through experience and i sincerely wish you can learn through them also:

1. Create a strategy and write all of your ideas down! Dont merely say; "okay.. I am going to learn this, this and that". This process will not give good results; you must write down a good plan on a piece of paper, so that it can easily resemble like some sort of reminder in order for you to know what youve learned already and what you havent.

2. Practice just as much as it is possible to and make sure you are REGULAR! I do know that most of you are already aware of the need to practice and yet the sad thing is, most people are simply not regular enough at what they do. They say that theyve been practicing something for months now but complain about having accomplished only little progress. That certainly is due to the fact that at times they werent regular enough! They would play their blues seriously for three weeks before giving it up for a week, and then start once again another week later! This is so so wrong; you should not stop for a week or 2, specially if you are very motivated to improve your guitar skills quickly.

3. Perseverance! Please, do not stop trying when one of the tracks that you have been trying to learn turns out to be a bit more challenging than what you were anticipating. You will have to persevere, because basically that is whats going to make you become very good, after you practice challenging tracks.

4. Have Patience! You are not going to become a master blues guitarist overnight. You've got to be patient and slowly and gradually your techniques will certainly get considerably better. The majority of people usually starts to weary whenever they do not witness any sort of serious improvement right after 2 - 3 weeks. Should you be like that, then you will never accomplish your dream of becoming a wonderful guitarist. Show patience and be regular, and you should see the positive effects very quickly.

5. Experiment with some new things once in a while; do not learn the exact same kind of songs all the time. Have a shot at learning a little bit of some finger-style tracks, a little bit of some blues rock songs, a little bit of some classic blues styles songs, a few blues jazz as well and so forth. The more often you learn, needlessly to say; the better youll become and if I am not wrong, I do believe that is precisely what you are really hoping to achieve.
