1. Baby sitting. While in most tv series, we find that teenagers babysit, it's not really true. You don't really have to be a teenager to babysit. The fact is more parents would want to hire a sitter with more experience and older as compared to teenagers. Since parents will be more at ease with sitters who have experience when it comes to children. Put an add in your area or post a profile online for people looking for a sitter.

2. Pet sitting. If you like looking after animals more than children then try being a pet sitter. Pet sitting and dog walking can be a fun way to exercise and earn cash. Put an add on area, or go to a vet's office and ask to leave your flyers there; or post in the community board or go online and post your ad.

3. Running errands. You can help others while earn at the same time by running errands for them. People who mostly avail of this kind of service are seniors, since their movements are already limited; or to those people who are invalid or just way too busy. This is good for those who don't have regular jobs at business hours. You can run errands or do their grocery shopping; provided they give you a list. These kinds of errands go beyond just shopping; you can send their mail, send something to a relative nearby, etc.

4. House cleaning. You can offer house cleaning services on your long spare time or weekends; you can offer this service to those people who rarely get the time to clean up their houses. Mostly these are people who have big time jobs or businesses. You can also offer your services for big cleaning jobs such as spring cleaning, clearing out the garage or attic; or for those who'd want to clean up their houses for selling.

5. Be a personal tutor. This would depend on your knowledge and skill on the subjects. You can tutor kindergartner's with their writing and reading skills; to those college students who need help with calculus. While you have to be more patient with the children, they make great students. When it comes to high-school or college subjects, you might want to study or review ahead too. You can charge more for those with complicated subjects. It's up to you and your contractor to come up with a deal regarding your pay. Also, you can both agree on the payment whether it be everyday or weekly.

Think of other ways in which you can earn money. This is a great way to keep your savings intact and earn more. Also you can use this money to buy all the things that you want for the moment, you can splurge yourself with this money. You decide whether this money will be added to your savings or you'll use it for your controlled spending. That way, your savings will remain intact but you can still get what you want.
