1. There is a rising trend these days to have a stag weekend and not just a one night event. If this is the case then you need to decide swiftly so you can find out who can afford what!

2. Some Accepted European destinations are Prague, Krakow, Talinn plus Split. If you are North American then Vegas, Cancun, Tijuana otherwise Atlantic City are exceptionally accepted. Again, find early on so that all your arrangements can be completed.

3. If you are staying local then there are still many weekend things you can do such as; paint balling, white water rafting, bungee jumping, clay pigeon shooting, kayaking, quad biking or else still sumo wrestling to name merely a few.

4. Make you put your name down for hotels in advance as many party oriented towns tend not to have as many hotel quarters as they should.

5. Plan well in advance for your stag party, it's not uncommon to start arranging up to six months ahead.

6. Consider a theme! Possibly you could all dress as James Bond, pirates, golfers or Frenchmen. If not then at least dress in matching t-shirts of the groom in a compromising location. I'm sure one of you can come up with a degrading caption!

7. Have 1 of your group dedicated to get plenty of photos. This is one date in your friends life that he's most likely going to want to reminisce, but may well not be in any physical state to remember anything come the end.
