75% Americans Want To End Medical Marijuana Raids

Federal government is not getting support for his War on Drugs from a majority of Americans

. Accordning to recent poll conducted by Mason Dixon & Research three out of four Americans dont want needless federal prosecution of marijuana dispensaries, growers, sellers and users in states where use of medical marijuana in legal.

The poll was done on 1,000 individuals from different states and ages across U.S. From those poll it was found that a large group of people from all cetegory do not like federal interference in state marijuana matters. Many among the age of 65 who happens to be against marijuana now use marijuana for different reasons.

This result of survey shows that there is no support for Government which is headed by Obama on state medical marijuana law. Steve Fox Director of Government Relations for the Marijuana Policy Project said "The results of this survey demonstrate that there is virtually no support in the country for the Obama administration's crackdown on state medical marijuana laws." The Obama Justice Department announced some time back that they will begin to shut down marijuana despensaries in California and other states and from that time around 200 dispensaries has been raided in nine states.

People from all the states and groups are saying that Obama should respect the use of medical marijuana law in the states as he has promised the same at the time of his presidential campaign. This is the time when President need to be stand to support patients who are being denied he use of medical marijuana for their health issue.


According to other expert it is supposed that Obama may need to stand soon or he will face a large hit from the supporters of marijuana as they are facing many issue because of this change in law.

Earlier people have started dispensary with the permission of state government but later because of federal authorities they are facing a lot of problems as there have been more than 200 raids in 9 states which is creating a harmful situation for owners.

Obama has promised in his campaign that he will help the marijuana users but now his men are disturbing the peoples for the use of marijuana.

He should take a step to stop harassing the marijuana patients or people will consider that he has made false statement during his presidential campaign. All the marijuana users and patients are appealing to President Obama that he should listen and understand them.
