No matter how good driver you are, keeping safety tips in mind is always necessary to ensure your and your loved one's safety

. This doesn't mean that we doubt your driving abilities; we are just pondering over the importance of applying safety tips during your driving. Following tips will help you to drive safely and arrive safely and you must consider them.

Phone

Have you ever think seriously over the point that why the usage of mobile phones is prohibited in most if the states and countries. The answer is very simple. You don't pay attention to the road while talking on a phone and your concentration level drop that result in severe disasters. Never try to use hand free gadgets as well. If it is important to take call, better stop your car carefully on the side of the road and take the call. Never attempt to take call while driving.

Sleepiness & Tiredness

After all we are human beings and often get tired of things. If you are going on a long trip, it is better to take breaks. This will keep you active and fresh. Continuous driving may cause tiredness and dizziness that can be crucial. Whenever you feel tired or feel sleepy, better to have a break and if possible sleep for some time. Its better arrive late than never. So, take care of you and your loved ones.

Safety Distance

Keep a considerable distance from a car ahead you. This will lessen the risk of accident and allow you enough time to adjust according to the speed of the car ahead.

Seat Belt

Seat belts are provided in all sorts of cars for your protection. No body going to gain a benefit from them except you. So, always wear your seat belt to minimize the risk factor.

Speed

A good driver always knows what should be the speed of his car while driving; it will neither be too fast, nor too slow. As you must be aware of the fact that driving fast cause you more fuel and create more pollution. So, drive slowly for the sake of your protection and for our planet.

Prepare your Car

It is not always the road signs and rules that you need to follow in order to ensure your safety. Your car should also be in perfect condition as well. Proper tire pressure, braking system, lights, and emergency flashers (blinkers) all must be in good working conditions. Oil and coolant level should also be checked before going out.

Animals

While driving on a road, pay special attention to the signs for animals. There are areas where animals can cross the road. So, be careful and attentive while passing through such areas. Also, if your pet is traveling with you, you need to have a proper setting for that too as at times your pet get freaked out by blinking lights, honking horns and jumped between your legs that can be extremely dangerous.

Driving Under the Influence (DUI)

Last but not the least, never ever drive when you are drunk as it is extremely risky for your and others safety.
