Lice

Mosquitoes

Fleas

Fleas are commonly brick red in color and have flat bodies. They have the ability to jump over 100 times their own height, which translates to about a foot high. Household pets like dogs and cats are usually their home but they can infest humans.

Bed bugs

Tiny brown insects that like linens and cool dark places received the name bed bugs because they are commonly found in old mattresses. These insects are active at night and generally suck blood from their victims at dawn.

Ticks

Because they attach to the skin, ticks are known as epidermal parasites. By injecting their pinchers, they begin to gorge themselves on blood. After they have their fill of nourishment, they will detach from the host. Ticks are known to carry infections and many serious illnesses like Lyme disease.

Mites

Triatoma

Babesia
