Whether you want a break from the children or you need to give the kids something to keep them occupied during a plane delay or long drive, a trusty Mp3 player is an indispensible item to have with you on luxury family holidays.

Medicines

Whether it is prescription medicine you regularly take or simply some cold and flu tablets, on your luxury family holidays ensure you have them with you. There is nothing worse than trying to explain through a language barrier what medicine you need in a foreign pharmacy, when if you simply popped a box of paracetamol in you bags before you left, you would save a lot of time, frustration and probably money too!

When you are heading into unchartered territory, especially if you have never been there before, a map of the city can be a lifesaver. While you are posing for photos with your family, or simply out on a sunny day sightseeing, it is very uncomfortable constantly squinting. Save yourself the time and money of buying a new pair and pop your sunglasses on your head as you leave home.

Something that could put a stop to your luxury family holidays before they even begin is if you forget your passports. Ensure you have the whole familys documentation before you leave home as you wont even be allowed to leave the country without them.
