RFID reader module which is a small ETSI compliant embedded UHF RFID reader module for OEMs. It is ideally suited for several applications that share common requirements for tag support, protocol, performance, and security. This RFID reader module is an ideal solution for anti-counterfeiting, patron management, asset management and item-level inventory management.

This power-efficient UHF RFID reader module, model 716001, is a high performance, secure solution, and is embeddable in a broad range of products. It features clone and tamper protection, high security with encryption, digital signature and key derivation. Based on Advanced Universal Reader Architecture (AURA), the reader offers customers investment protection through a flexible, forward-compatible platform that will support future tag protocols, security features, and customized enhancements.

This compact reader module uses a 6 dBi linearly polarized antenna and reads up to 50 tags per second at a maximum read distance of 3.5 m. It provides selectable interfaces such as TTL, SPI, USB, and I2C for data exchange. It is compliant with various protocols such as EPC C1G1, EPC C1G2 / ISO 18000-6C, ISO 18000-6B, and ISO 18000-6A5. In addition, it has a low power consumption of 5 mA in sleep mode and 170 mA in idle mode. The output power of this reader module is adjustable from10 to 27 dBm at 0.1 dB steps with an accuracy of 1 dBm.

This 900 MHz UHF RFID Reader Module belongs to GAO's family of RFID Embedded Modules. This line also includes 125KHz. LF Low Freq. RFID Reader Module Substitute - Mag Stripe which is designed to be a direct replacement for Magnetic Stripe Reader Modules to convert the existing application and hardware to RFID technology, 13.56 MHz. (HF) High Frequency RFID Reader Module Kit which has a read range feature which depends on the size of antenna can be up to 200mm and other similar products. This line of RFID embedded modules is easy to integrate into many LF/HF RFID applications. They provide a high performance and cost-effective platform for embedding into other devices.
