A Bad Day in My MLM is Better Than a Good Day at Work

I've been sick for over a week. Today is day 9 and I can't hear very well because of the fluid in my ears, also my throat is pretty sore, but surprisingly I feel really good. Having my biz online is fantastic, and I especially like the fact that I can still achive something even if I'm making calls. Don't missunderstand me, you have to call people, but it's fantastic to be able to get the word out even if you're stuck in your house! In this piece I'm going to go over a few online marketing strategies that don't involve leaving your home or even calling people.

First we'll look at video marketing:

Video marketing is a cool outlet for people with multiple skills, but even if you have no skills if you get in front of a camera and push record you'll be farther along than a lot of people. Right now I'm really glad to be productive in my business, without having to actually be another place. I even did a video while I was sick, it wasn't hard at all, in fact I documented my sickness just to get more comfortable with being on camera. My videos could definitely be better, but isn't that half the fun? Everyone truly wealthy knows that there is always room for improvement. All you want to focus on is being consistent, add to what you have constantly, and make your content better as you go. If you try to be perfect you won't get it done, so get out there and show people who you are. Here's another neat thing about video's or anything that you make; you don't have to publish it if you don't like it, Hit Delete! Can you hit Delete on a bad presentation? Look I'm not saying you can always hit the delete button but if you can why not take advantage of it? Videos are an awesome way to promote and let people see who you are.

Now on to articles:

Article marketing is a lot of fun! I mean really, did you have to ask? My only problem was that instead of writing a brief report or post I would end up writing a novel. The issue I was having was that there is so much information it's hard to pick and choose what to leave in and what to take out. Lately I've been studying other people's short reports and that's helped me to keep things more brief. Another thing about article marketing that stumps people is the question, what do you write about? I had this issue for a bit but what I learned is that you have to read if you want to write. Read up on a subject then write about it.

Did you know that you can actually profit just by writing an article about a hobby or a pet or whatever else interests you? Squidoo is a fantastic website where you can write and get paid; all you need is to open an account and use your imagination.

Use Twitter and social media:

The reason I say Twitter and social media is that Twitter is one of the most simplistic ways to get in touch with likeminded people. Twitter is an excellent social website and if you follow somebody chances are they'll follow you back. Personally I built a following of 1600 people in just a few days only by following people.

I like Twitter because you know what you're gonna get; everyone on Twitter is trying to sell something and that's great because everyone's on the same page. Also Twitter is a great way to get your foot in the door and start a discussion. I actually leverage Twitter to connect with people on Facebook and other social sites. Every so often when you connect with someone in one place it's like a chain reaction, and suddenly you may be connected to one person through several social sites. The other neat thing about social media is that when you connect with somebody you are then connected to everyone that they know. Social media is a great way to network with people, its free and just like the other marketing strategies we've gone over, you can use them all sitting in the comfort of your home.

Certainly there's more that can be covered but this is just about the advantages of marketing online, and how you can still produce even if you're unable to leave your home.
