Some colors are restful, encouraging relaxation, others are used to induce hunger, restlessness, power, energy, vitality, the colors of a web page are very important and need to be used wisely. Font, like color is personal, but above all the font chosen should be easily legible. If a person in their twenties is designing the web page they need to remember that older people need larger, simpler fonts or they will quickly lose interest. I hate getting wedding invitations or perusing websites where someone has chosen a fancy font that is virtually illegible. Fonts also need to fit the format of the website and product. A cutesy, playful font is fine if you are selling baby goods, or scrap book supplies but not so great if your business is construction equipment. Think of your web page as your store, who are you trying to attract and what do you want it to feel like.

Lay out is very important to the overall feel and ease of navigating the web site it tantamount. A bold, large title on top, easy search for those just looking for a single item, it should be accessible and user friendly. Don't assume others can read your mind, it has to be easy to navigate by those without much web experience. Easy accessible pricing also helps people navigate the site and make sure there is easy shopping cart additions. I like to see a side bar of what is in the cart to make sure I have purchased all I was intending to.

New Jersey web designs can get rather complicated and busy with animations and graphics, make sure they add to your page and not detract from it or take to much time to shop. Also beware of music or other noises as you don't want to discourage people from being on your site at work or in a library or other public place. I was at work once and quickly went to check out a web site when blaring music errupted from the site, click, close, done, never to go there again.

Web designs can be fun, playful, colorful, or have a more professional feel, it just depends on the product you are selling. Make your web page a great place to be and people will come back.
