A Better Mode Of Transportation

In many areas of the world where there are higher populated cities

, transportation can be very difficult. Too many taxi cabs just make congestion worse and the larger buses add to the already crowded roadways. However, the minibus charter offers a solution to some of these issues. As this vehicle is smaller in size, it is a definite plus and yet it can transport more passengers than the taxi van is capable of carrying. In some areas, the green minibus operates on a pre-set schedule with fares accordingly set. In areas such as Hong Kong, this form of transportation is termed public light transport. To access this service, a person must act in the same manner as hailing a cab from the side of the street's edge.

Unlike the green minibus, the red minibus charter offers the more flexible schedule and the fares are likely to be more expensive with a great variance in fees, even so far as to charges for receipt of change. There is apparently little regulation for this service. The number of passengers is approximately 16 which can make a huge difference in the traffic snarls that occur on any given work day.

The basic difference in these two public transportation modes lies with their regulated and non-regulated routes. For one to know the difference by appearances, the color of the minibus' roof will be the indicator. The exterior color in each case is basically beige. If one is interested in getting to their destination at a set time, the green bus will be the more dependable of the two.

Some issues have arisen on the "red" light public where fares have risen drastically and without regulation, one is required to pay the charges. There is also the possibility that excessive speed could be a factor as a driver rushes about to complete more runs. While there is a push from some governments to regulate this factor, most individuals only seem to be concerned with arriving at their destination with little or no regard to the subject of safety on the ride. The minibus offers a reasonable solution to a transportation dilemma in crowded cities.
