A chill in the night (Play Misty for Me) is an American film directed by Clint Eastwood
, released in 1971. Its original title "Play Misty for Me" is more evocative than the French title. This is the first film in which Eastwood directed and played at a time.
Dave Garver is a radio announcer who every evening, when issued, passes the disc requested by one of the listeners. One evening, while he went into the bar he used to frequent, Dave made the acquaintance of one of his fervent admirers, Evelyn, who every evening, asked the same disk. Dave and Evelyn spent the night together.
