. The new iPhone 4 White is one of these models, and looks destined to eclipse its counterparts thanks to a total package comprising of looks, features and general ease of use.

Colours still need to be good and the phones 800:1 contrast ratio offers a massive palette, further enhanced by IPS technologies which gives a depth to the colours normally associated with top end home televisions. It is not all change though, previous iPhones boasted some excellent features on the screen which have wisely been included here. Pinch and Zoom remains the most effective method of zooming on a small display, and a host of sensors behind the screen make using the phone a pleasure. these include the accelerometer for auto rotate and a proximity sensor.

Nowadays making a call is just a small part of a phones use, and the range of features found on the iPhone 4 White illustrates this point perfectly. Budding photographers will appreciate the 5 mega pixel camera. Although it sounds a fairly standard affair, the sensor that actually produces the image is also improved, resulting in photographs more alike ones taken on snappers with a much higher resolution. A number of handy heatures accompany the camera such as autofocus, digital zoom and the all important LED flash for catching a moment when the lighting conditions are not perfect. If video is more of your thing, then you will be hard pressed to better the 720P HD recording that is on offer. And audio fans will already be familiar with the iPod, and this offers exactly the same functionality, with the great display the perfect platform to display the carousel of cover art that is available.

It is hard not to be impressed with the iPhone 4 White. Deciding against sticking with what they know, Apples big changes have if anything improved on a great phone, and the new white finish scores top marks for style.
