When you long on however the addon will sync spawn times with other users letting you know when you need to return to Dalaran and safe wow gold wait. The new LFG system combined with the change in servers for the 5 mans means you can't trust the spawn times when you are doing your daily heroic. I've found popping back to Dalaran between dungeons helps me keep track of how long I have until I need to sit on the spawn point. The addon has 3 bar colors to let you know what to expect. Red means that the book could spawn at any time. Yellow means that it could spawn and someone is sitting in Dalaran watching it. Green means the book spawned, and is on cool down. If you hover over a specific book's bar it will tell you how long you have in its current color. If there is no color, that means no one has observed the book spawn, so the addon doesn't have any information to predict when it will return. The text also lets you know what books you need to read (white text), and which books you've already read (gray). This saves you time if you have alts who each have read and not read different books. So try out the addon and see if it makes getting Higher Learning a little bit easier for you. And if you are on my server just download it to help me out.
