With the direct sell, you sell the product and the customer gives you the money. That's it. You don't have to wait for months or, sometimes, even years, as you watch the product move further and further down the ladder until you don't even know who's selling it anymore and you don't even remember signing up in the first place, you just get a check out of the blue and say "Oh, right, that MLM thing I signed up for years ago". The pyramid like structure of MLM simply restricts fast money-making.

Direct Selling Profits DIRECTLY

With direct sell, you just sell to the customer, that's it. You don't have to look into all sorts of weird recruitment plans, you don't need to worry about the guy above you or the guy below you. There's no ladder of salesmen and marketers, it's just you, your supplier and your customers. So you get your product, you sell it to your customer and... There you go. It's a much simpler business plan resulting in easier, direct profits.

Direct Sales is Simpler

If you look up a definition of multilevel marketing, you probably won't understand it thoroughly no matter how many times you reread the definition. It's... Complicated. There are just so many ins and outs, and you might go along with it for years without really knowing how to turn it into a money making opportunity. With direct sales, you sell. That's it. You sell, and you make a profit.

MLM Can Be Risky

A recent study showed that only ten percent of business owners of a certain MLM company in the United Kingdom were actually making any profits at all. Not all MLM systems are the same, but the fact remains that MLM is not as reliable as selling good, useful products directly to the customer. Yes, it's possible to make money with MLM businesses, and many of them are entirely trustworthy and completely on the up and up, but you need to do a lot of research to find the ones that will deal straight with you.

Direct Selling is Focused on SELLING

Once more, the only real relationship in direct selling is the customer/seller relationship. This is because direct sales is about selling, not working your way up a pyramid. It's simpler, it's easier, there's less risk, and in the end, you're much more of a real, true, bona fide business owner. This isn't to say that direct sales are necessarily more legitimate than MLM businesses, but there is much less risk involved, and you're put more in charge of your own financial future when working in the direct sales industry.
