This means that if you are considering the benefits of patio roofs then by having GRP patio canopies fitted you can enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing that you'll be able to use your patio almost the entire year round, as long as it's not too cold, and without having to worry about the maintenance which would otherwise be necessary if you chose patio roofs made from other materials such as canvas.
GRP patio canopies can be fitted very quickly, and are extremely affordable. Once they're up, you can pretty much forget about them. The only maintenance that is really required is perhaps to occasionally point a hose pipe at them or wipe them down with a damp cloth from time to time. But you won't have to worry about mildew, rot, fading, water pooling, rain damage or sun damage as you would with canvas or material patio canopies.
