A Comprehensive Analysis Of The Concentrator
In telecommunication, the term concentrator has the following meanings:
In data transmission, a functional unit that permits a common path to handle more data sources than there are channels currently available within the path. A concentrator usually provides communication capability between many low-speed, usually asynchronous channels and one or more high-speed, usually synchronous channels. Usually different speeds, codes, and protocols can be accommodated on the low-speed side. The low-speed channels usually operate in contention and require buffering.
A device that connects a number of links with only one destination, the main function of this device is to make a kind of load balancing between two or more servers connected together, data distribution is done according to the server processing rate.
A patch panel or other component in the cable plant where cable runs converge.
ISP usually use concentrators (
ore beneficiation) to enable modem dialing, this kind of concentrator is sometimes called a modem concentrator or a remote access concentrator.
However, in mining industry, it refers to a totally distinct thing.
The High efficiency Concentrator produced by our company is suitable for dehydrating the ore concentration and tailings. It can make the mash of 20-30% rise to 40-70%. It is widely used for melting, chemical, coal, non metal concentration, environment protection industry, etc. It is not only sedimentation equipment but also a new type dehydrating equipment with the mash percolate features.
Characteristics:
(1) Adding flocculating agent to enlarge the diameter of the deposit solid grain, speed up the deposit.
(2) Set the lean board, reduce the mash deposit distance, and increase the deposit area.
(3) Have effect on flocculating. Percolating, compressing and dealing quantity of the slurry deposits.
(4) Equipped with the perfect automatic facility.
The machines utilize the principles of a centrifuge to enhance the gravitational force experienced by feed particles to effect separation based on particle density. The key components of the unit are a cone shaped "concentrate" bowl, rotated at high speed by an electric motor and a pressurized water jacket encompassing the bowl. Feed material, typically from a ball mill discharge or cyclone underflow bleed, is fed as slurry toward the centre of the bowl from above. The feed slurry contacts the base plate of the vessel and, due to its rotation, is thrust outward. The outer extremities of the concentrate bowl house a series of ribs and between each pair of ribs is a groove. During operation the lighter material flows upward over the grooves and heavy mineral particles (usually of economic value) become trapped within them. Pressurized water is injected through a series of tangential water inlets along the perimeter of each groove to maintain a fluidized bed of particles in which heavy mineral particles can be efficiently concentrated. The concentrator typically operates as a batch process, with lighter gangue material being continuously discharged via overflow and a heavy mineral concentrate periodically removed by flushing the bowl with water.
